Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)
Also commonly referred to as "tapping", clinical EFT is an energy-based method whose roots stem from traditional Chinese medicine, specifically acupuncture. According to Chinese medicine, our body is made up of various meridians. These meridians connect to our organ systems and act as pathways for energy to flow throughout our body. When we are overwhelmed by physical or emotional stressors, the energy can become “stuck” along one or more meridians. Just as acupuncture uses needles to help restore energy flow along these meridians, tapping on certain acupoints (typically in the face, upper torso, and occasionally the fingers) provides clients with “emotional acupuncture” (without needles!), thereby releasing these stuck points and assisting clients in reconnecting to life in a more positive, balanced way.
Many clients find that EFT offers noticeable relief to active stressors or overwhelming emotions. Tapping acts as a form of gentle somatic stimulation, offering clients an effective way to calm the “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In addition, not only can EFT assist in producing long-lasting results, it is also a great way for clients to become active participants in their own wellness journey!

This technique is offered to clients both in-person and virtually.

Neuro Emotional Technique (NET)
Neuro Emotional Technique, or NET, is a mind-body stress reduction technique that uses a methodology of finding and removing neurological imbalances related to the physiology of unresolved stress patterns. It is based on the concept that unresolved emotions and trauma are stored in the body. The goal of NET is to correct the neuro emotional complex (NEC) – imprinted emotional information that affects physiological function. NET is not psychotherapy, and it does not involve any type of counseling, life coaching, or psychological testing of any sort. Additionally, NET does not cure or heal the client. Instead, it assists the body in removing the emotional blocks that are preventing state of wellness, thereby giving the body the support it needs to potentially repair itself.

Guided FAST Technique
FAST stands for "First Aid Stress Tool", and it comes from the Neuro Emotional Technique (NET). It is a technique that can be taught to clients to help them alleviate stress responses in their bodies. Often, the stress we experience today subconsciously connects to previous stressful experiences in our past, which can intensify the current stress response. By gently guiding the body through the stressful emotion or event, the FAST technique allows clients to remove the conditioned stress response and often experience noticeable relief.
*This technique is offered to clients both in-person and virtually.*
